Lots of my customers say the kitchen is the most important part of their home in terms of getting it to look gorgeous. I agree with this and although a well fitted stylish cupboard door makes a massive impact, a poorly fitted worktop also has a massive impact but in a bad way. I fit every kind of kitchen worktop and have all the specialist tools needed to cater exactly to each type of worktop. I usually fit the sink and hob as part of my service too, and I don’t leave your home until your new worktop looks perfect.

I’ve loved working with wood for as long as I can remember and I started a Joinery apprenticeship one year after leaving school as i worked full time for a year labouring for two joiners. I’m qualified with a city and guilds level 3 in woodworking and I’ve worked full time as a carpenter and joiner for 16 years. About 10 years ago I noticed more and more people were starting to fit their own diy kitchens but always got stuck on making the worktop look good and like it belonged to that kitchen instead of looking as though it was just stuck on top like a bad wig. I’ve specialised in every kind of kitchen worktop since then and although I get great feedback for my full kitchen refits, most of the work I do today is as a new kitchen worktops fitters.
